SMS Terms
These SMS Terms & Conditions govern the Shark Bite Fitness and Nutrition text message program.
Program name and sender
This is the Shark Bite Fitness and Nutrition SMS Program. Text messages are sent by Shark Bite Fitness and Nutrition (Cape Coral Training Box LLC), 307 SW 7th Pl, Cape Coral, FL 33991, from (239) 323-9354.
Program description: two kinds of messages, two separate consents
The Shark Bite Fitness and Nutrition SMS Program has two parts. You choose each one separately, and agreeing to one never signs you up for the other. Only people who have opted in directly with Shark Bite Fitness and Nutrition receive messages, and only the kind they opted in to.
1. Informational messages
Appointment confirmations and reminders, replies to questions you send us, and class, schedule or account updates. These are recurring messages sent to the mobile number you gave us.
How to opt in to informational messages. Directly with Shark Bite Fitness and Nutrition, by checking the optional, unchecked "informational text messages" box at the bottom of the Book Free Intro form on sharkbitefitness.com, above the GET STARTED button. Opting in to informational messages does not opt you in to marketing messages.
2. Marketing messages
Gym news, events and offers from Shark Bite Fitness and Nutrition.
How to opt in to marketing messages. Only by separate written consent: checking the separate, optional, unchecked "promotional text messages" box on the Book Free Intro form on sharkbitefitness.com. That box is never pre-checked and is not required to submit the form, book, visit or join. Texting us, booking an appointment, giving us your number, or checking the informational box is not consent to marketing messages, and we do not send marketing messages on the strength of any of those.
No purchase necessary
Signing up for either part of the SMS program does not require you to buy anything, and your consent is not a condition of any purchase or membership. You can book, visit and join the gym without opting in to text messages.
How to opt out
You can cancel at any time. Reply STOP to any message and you will not receive any more texts from us, informational or marketing. QUIT, END, CANCEL and UNSUBSCRIBE also work. If you want to stop marketing messages but keep appointment reminders, email us and say so. You can also opt out by emailing nick@sharkbitefitness.com and telling us you want to leave the text message program.

Message frequency
Message frequency varies. Most people receive a few messages a month, with more around a booked appointment.
Message and data rates
Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile provider and plan. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Privacy
SMS opt-in data. We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
Mobile information. No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
We do not share your mobile number, your text message consent, or your opt-in data with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes at any time. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your information.
Changes to these terms
We may change or end the SMS program and these terms at any time. Changes take effect when the updated terms are posted on this page.
